Clutch   |   Before and After Workflow Screens

The “before” dashboard is clean with a clear information hierarchy, though it could benefit from more engaging interactive elements and better use of space, we could improve this by proper layout and structure.

The "after" image on the right shows a dashboard with a significantly improved layout and structure compared to the "before" version on the left:

  • Content Utilization: The empty space in the previous design is now effectively used with multiple charts, providing a quick, at-a-glance view of different metrics.

  • Information Density: There is a higher information density, with various data points presented cohesively.

  • Visual Hierarchy: The new design has a clear visual hierarchy, making it easier for users to navigate and understand the data at a glance. Important information such as 'Rides Requested', 'Num Rides Canceled', and other metrics are distinguished with different colors.

  • Interactive Features: The "after" version includes interactive elements such as data point markers on the graphs that likely offer more detailed information on hover or click, enhancing user engagement.

  • Aesthetics: The overall aesthetic is more vibrant and visually appealing, with the use of color and chart differentiation offering a more dynamic user experience.

  • Functional Improvements: There are additional functional elements like 'Save View', 'Share URL', 'Filters', and the ability to add new charts, which suggest a more customizable and user-interactive interface.
