ABOUT

I’m a Product Designer at The Glue, a creative digital agency in Los Angeles. I’ve been here about six years, and I love the range. I get to design across tech and transit for clients like Lyft, Cisco, LA Metro, LADOT and Metrolink.

I take a project from the early messy part through to what ships. Digging into research and product metrics to find where the real problems are, mapping complex flows, prototyping, running usability or A/B tests when we need better evidence, and staying with it through handoff so what launches matches the intent. Most of my work involves building components into design systems other people will use after me.

I came into product design from VFX, animation, film and photography, and I’ve been leading creative work since 2009. That background is why I’m comfortable designing for screens that aren’t phones: web, mobile, kiosks and ticket machines, and occasionally physical products.

Outside of work I run and swim, and on weekends I’m usually somewhere around the Grove or the Farmers Market.
